Square- Gradually tapered and cut on all four sides. A general purpose file, cut and usable to the point.  Cuts 00, 0 & 4 have blunt ends. Cuts 1 & 2 have pointed ends

Valtitan Square Files- For platinum, stainless steel, exotic plastics and other hard to file materials.  The hardest surface known- Rockwell hardness 72HRc.  Best performance on hard-to-file surfaces. Cut 0 has blunt end.  Cut 2 has pointed end.

 Little or no clogging, a simple knock is enough to remove the chips.  Highly resistant to corrosion.  Swiss.

American Pattern Square- The double cut file is used when filing slots, grooves, keyways, inside corners and square holes. Tapered toward the point, all four sides are equal filing surfaces.  Swiss made.
