Lathe Millgrains- Shor lathe millgrain tools are used on a lathe with an SV-12 collect expander and collets to put a millgrain border on the edge of a ring or bracelet. Male tools have a raised bead and leave a beaded imprint on the edge of a ring or bracelet. Female tools are indented and leave a imprinted bead. Rope tools leave a rope like effect. Lathe millgrains pictured below are magnified about 6 times actual size.

Posalux Millgrains

Available in all types of millgrains. Same as the std. lathe millgrains but mounted in a Posalux type tool holder so that millgraining can be done in a faceting machine instead of a lathe.

S 400
�" diameter

	The S style lathe millgrains are both larger in diameter and wider that the standard lathe millgrain. In addition to these differences, the teeth of the S style are cut more square, while the standard lathe millgrains have a much more rounded edge. The result is a very unique edging.
The comparison photo above shows an S-400 millgrain on top and a 1/2" diameter M10 lathe millgrain on the bottom).
