Shor Tool Holders

Shor carries a wide variety of different tool holders for horizontal and vertical cutting. Each serves a different purpose. Because of the time it takes to install and align the diamond or carbide tools in the tool holders, faceters leave their tools mounted in tool holders, not removing them unless the tool is worn or damaged. This gives them the ability to change tools in seconds. Multi-tool tool holders make the change even quicker. In addition, multi-tool holders (with the exception of the 6-tool holder) are more economical than single tool holders. |

The Shor Horizontal Single Tool Holders are typically 150 mm. However, Shor also stocks them in 100 mm and 60 mm for situations where a faceter will need to make shorter deeper cuts. The Shor Horizontal Adjustable Double Tool Holder is a 150 mm tool holder with a fully adjustable slideway that permits the centering of 2 diamond and/or carbide tools so that they need not be recentered each time the tool holder is changed. This tool holder affords faster changing of tools than single tool holders. And, because of its price, it is much more economical to purchase 1 double tool holder than 2 single tool holders., |
