Dapping Blocks & Dapping Dies
Dapping tools are used to shape softer metals and waxes by punching into the depression of the blocks and dies. The punches and blacks are matched so that perfect hemispheres and domes can be formed in specified sizes.

Large, Flat Dapping Block-

Large block features 27 depressions ranging ¹/16" to 1". Size 5¹/8 x 2½ x ⁷/8"
Fully ground alloy steel. Mirror polished finish.
Opposite side is ground flat and polished. Can be used as a bench block.

Flat Designer Dapping Block-

Small dapping block offers 22 depressions ranging from ¹/8" to 1". Both sides shown in pix to left.
There are 8 half cylinders on the sides of the block, ranging from³/16" to 1" and 14 half spheres on front and back ranging in size from ¹/8" to 1". Size 4 x 2½ x ⁷/8".
