Centrifugal Casting Machines
Long Arm Centrifugal Casting Machine-

Takes flasks up to 3½" in diameter and 5" high. The long 223/8" arm provides the extra force needed for heavier casts. 

Comes with balance weights and cradle for 2½" diameter flasks. The recommended crucible is the 12 ounce size.

Short Arm Centrifugal Casting Machine-

Takes flasks up to 3½" in diameter and 2¾" high. Comes with balance weights, crucible, 3 flasks, 3 flask cradles, 3 Sprue bases and flask tongs. Designed to be used with Wesgo crucibles.

Platinum "freezes" very quickly, so the machine that casts it must throw the metal into the flask very quickly. The Shor Platinum Casting Machine uses both high torque springs and a vertical centrifugal design for rapid starting and casting speed. A question often asked is "Why are platinum casting machines so expensive compared with horizontal gold casting machines?".
