Wood Handled Burnishers- Oval shaped tool steel burnishers for smoothing bezels around stones and smoothing other parts of soft metals. Highly polished blades are firmly set in wood handles. The slim blades (#18.058 & 18.059) are especially useful for jewel setting.

Double Round Head Burnishing Set-  Beautifully made of high grade stainless steel. Each perfectly round head is polished to a mirror finish. Used to form PMC, this set is excellent for wax and clay as well. Six sizes in all with serrated handles, these burnishers are a must for every bench. Agate Burnishers- Our natural agate stone burnishers are perfect for metal clay work, Keum-boo applications and applying gold and silver foil.  Also works to burnish unfired metal clay.  Can be used like a steel burnisher for smoothing metals and closing bezels.  Unlike steel burnishers, they will not damage stones.  Length is 8½".

Margin Roller/Burnisher- For burnishing scratches from gold, making it possible to salvage many pieces that are highly porous without gold loss. Cylindrical Carbide Polishers-   Rotary burnishers are the quickest, easiest and surest way to remove porosity, firescale, pinholes and scratches from gold, platinum and silver.  The faceted sides of each polished tungsten carbide burnisher gives a coarse, medium or fine finish (depending upon the number of facets).  3/32" shank. Use with flex shaft machine.

Scrapers are ideal for cleaning, smoothing and deburring metals and plastics. Used to prepare surfaces for soldering, removing excess solders, open bezels etc. Sharp from handle to tip, can be resharpened on a bench stone. All are securely mounted in hardwood handles. For precision type of scraper see Broaches. Broaches are small, precision scrapers and burnishers used primarily for opening holes to an exact diameter.
